This was my first proper photography "job", not just a hobby. The England Deaf Karting Association contacted me through my website and asked if I'd cover Round 2 of the England Deaf Karting League at Karting Silverstone on Saturday 3rd October. Karting is where all of this started for me, so spending an evening at the track watching the racing was a real treat, and doing it for such a meaningful organisation was an extra bonus.
This first batch starts with the pre-race build-up before moving on to the track action.
It was also great to see the team from Motorsport UK there on the night. Huge thanks to them and to everyone at EDKA for making me feel so welcome.
I wasn't able to get inside the track fence, so I didn't get as many shots of the infield as I'd have liked. Trackside access would have been brilliant, but I've done my best with what I had.
